Description
This plugin provides an online Forum, within Confluence where users can hold conversations in the form of posted messages using Confluence pages and comments. The pages represent both individual Forums and children within each Forum page represent the threads or Topics.
A discussion forum may have several topics. Each topic represents a discussion and the discussion can be replied to by any users who wish to contribute. They do this by adding comments to the page.
The Forum resides in its own dedicated Confluence space. This plugin provides a templated Space (Create Space), which can be tailored by the administrator, or used as is. All Forums and Topics are created and maintained with the space.
Features Include
- Administrators and Moderators can change the state of Forums and Topics (Active, Read-Only, Hidden)
- Creating topics in each forum can be restricted using built-in Confluence Space Permissions and Page Restrictions
- Top contributors per forum are shown in the forum table
- Configuration over which columns are shown to Users in the Space Home and Forum tables
