Page Variable Substitution
For some of the featured macros, the user selection can be used in a Page Variable and displayed elsewhere on the current page only.
The page variable is added to the Confluence page while in Edit mode, and the variable is written as: ‘%'<Page Variable>.
This variable replacement uses case–sensitive search, therefore the variable name must match the Page Variable parameter exactly.
For example:
If the Macro is a Live: Dropdown List, and the Page Variable parameter is Dropdown1, then the variable to place on the page will be %Dropdown1
